About the Practice
Henley Green Medical Centre is located in a purpose-built primary care centre in Coventry.
We currently serve a population of just over 8,400 patients. Our team consists of 5 doctors, 1 GP Trainee, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 1 Clinical Pharmacist & 2 Health Care Assistants. We are a training practice, which consists of training GPs and Student Nurses.
The medical centre is part of a wider network of GP practices, known as the Sowe Valley Primary Care Network (PCN). This PCN consists of 10 practices working together to provide a wider range of services to the local population. Within the PCN, the below additional roles are provided to our practice.
Henley Green Medical Centre has 5 GPs, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 Health Care Assistants/Phlebotomist/Smoking Cessation Advisors and 1 Prescribing Pharmacist at the Practice.
We have recently changed our Appointment system. Patients are now offered a telephone appointment with the GP, which is triaged first. If a GP needs to assess you face to face, they will book this appointment. We offer on-the-day appointments.
We have been a Research Practice since 2011. The Practice takes part in research activities. If patients are interested in getting involved please speak to a GP or Practice Manager.
The Practice became a Training Practice in 2014.
The Practice merged with The Crossley Practice in 2017. We are now fully operational from Henley Green Medical Centre. The Crossley Site is now closed.
