Extreme Heat Warning!!!!
The Met Office and UK Health Security Agency have issued a rare Red Warning for extreme heat across the Midlands, including Coventry.
Temperatures could soar to between 38°C and 40°C with high humidity. This alert remains in effect from 09:00 BST on Wednesday until 21:00 BST on Thursday, presenting a significant risk to life.
A Red alert is the most severe warning available, indicating that widespread impacts on daily life, infrastructure, and health services are highly likely.
